With the walk-in possibility, we offer residents low-threshold support

Municipalities are developing plans to transition existing homes to a gas-free future. Not an easy task, realisation covers many years. Some residents cannot or do not want to wait for the realisation of those plans. They want to become more sustainable after already but wonder How?. Municipalities understand the urgency and engage Woondokter's advisers for walk-in consultations. Residents can walk in for a consultation without an appointment.

Asbestos removal and home sustainability in one fell swoop

There are still homes or sheds where asbestos is incorporated in roofs or facades. Because even asbestos does not have eternal life, at some point there is an urgent need to remove it and replace it with a sustainable alternative. For many homeowners, this is complicated. What are the options? Do you do it yourself or leave it to a company? And how do you pay for this intervention? Woondokter helps with process guidance: residents get advice on technical possibilities, market players, requesting and comparing offers and financing options. At the same time, we advise on insulation and solar panel options.

Subsidised advice

Municipalities can support residents in making their homes more sustainable with a subsidy scheme. Under such a scheme, residents are reimbursed part of the cost of a Housing Plan, Customized Advice or Pathway Guidance. The subsidy is paid after implementation of sustainable measures. This big stick ensures that residents actually take action after receiving advice. In cooperation with the municipalities of Utrecht, IJsselstein and Woerden, we have already advised on sustainable measures for more than 700 homes.
