WoningPlan

Making your home more sustainable and saving energy costs? The WoningPlan tells you how

You want to make your home more sustainable, save on your energy costs and contribute to a better environment. But where should you start and what is the investment? Should you opt for a heat pump, solar panels, insulation? Or does effectively making your home more sustainable require a combination of these options.

Every home is unique, even if many homes look alike. If it is not the location, it is the installations or the way you live in the house. Making your home more sustainable requires a careful approach that takes into account both the possibilities of the home and your lifestyle. Woondokter's sustainability advisers will be happy to help.

Woondokter provides independent advice on making your home more sustainable

Woondokter's advisers value independence and objective advice. In addition, effectively making a home more sustainable requires a comprehensive approach. To come to a complete, coherent advice, we have developed the WoningPlan. Using the WoningPlan, we advise and report on the preservation of your entire home in a proven six-step approach. This ensures that we assess and record all structural aspects and installations of the home.

Woondokter's sustainability advice in practice

To draw up a WoningPlan, we make an appointment at your home. We then go through your wishes and living habits and make a detailed survey of your home. Afterwards, we discuss the advice with you. After the home visit, we confirm the advice in a written report. In it, we describe the measures and explain why we have come to this advice. We also indicate the order in which you can implement the measures. At the pace that suits you, of course, but with a clear end goal in mind. Finally, we provide insight into the financial aspects of the plan to make your home more sustainable. The WoningPlan consists of the following topics:

  • Insulation
  • Ventilation
  • Heating
  • Cooling
  • Hot tap water
  • Sustainable energy

Would you like more information about the WoningPlan or want to make an appointment. Then fill out here your information. You can also use a call back request.

WoningPlan+ goes beyond energy saving

Besides a well-thought-out plan to save energy, there may be other aspects you want to consider. Aspects best summarised under the heading of living comfort.

A home can be uncomfortable in winter, or unbearably hot in summer. Or there can be noise pollution from outside, or mould and condensation due to poor ventilation , which is bad for living comfort and your health.

The WoningPlan+ is an extension of the WoningPlan with an advice on improving comfort. The WoningPlan+ also includes a multi-year planning and a graph showing the development of energy costs over several years.

Are you eligible for a grant to make your home more sustainable?

A number of municipalities provide subsidies on Woondokter's advisory services. Read here more about your municipality's grants. In addition to subsidies on our consulting work, there are also government grants and loans for making homes more sustainable. You can find more about these on the website of the Dutch government.
